Directions from the M5 and Malvern
Across country you’ll either head from Stow-on-the-Wold in the East toward Tewkesbury on the B4077 or from the West on the A438 (Hereford). The most likely direction though will be from the M5 North or South. Directions from the M5 are listed below.
Directions from the M5 South
- Exit M5 at Junction 9
- Turn left at roundabout, signposted Tewkesbury
- Head into Tewkesbury (Town Centre) for 2-3 miles
- At War Memorial (mini roundabout with monument) Turn Right
- Follow High Street until you hit a mini roundabout
- Turn Left at mini roundabout
- Follow A38 for 1/2 mile
- Take left onto A438 signposted Ledbury
- Set milometer to zero
- In exactly 6 miles there is a right hand turn (on the left signpost pointing to Birtsmorton Court & Church). Take this turn.
- House is on the left in 1/2 a mile
Directions from the M5 North
- Exit M5 at Junction 8 signpost M50 Ross and South Wales
- Travel M50 for 1 1/2 miles
- Take Junction 1 onto A38 signposted Malvern
- At roundabout turn left signposted Tewkesbury
- Go along A38 for 3-4 miles until you get to outskirts of Tewkesbury
- About 1/2 mile before you get to Tewkesbury, take right turn onto the A438 signposted Ledbury
- Set milometer to zero
- In exactly 6 miles there is a right hand turn (on the left signpost pointing to Birtsmorton Court & Church). Take this turn.
- House is on the left in 1/2 a mile.
Directions from Malvern
- Go past the Three Counties Showground heading towards Welland on the B4208.
- Go through Welland past Castlemorton Common, keep going on this road until you reach Birtsmorton.
- Upon passing the Birtsmorton and Coombe Green signs, take the next Left signposted Birts Street.
- Go down Birts Street for ¾ mile until you reach the Farmer’s Arms Pub. Keeping the pub on your Left carry on this road for a further mile until you reach a T-Junction (NOT Rye Street) signposted to the Right to Birtsmorton Court and Church.
Take this Right turn, carry on for a ¼ mile. Enter Birtsmorton Court through the gate signposted Car Park.
