A Church Wedding at Birtsmorton Church
The example below depicts a typical Birtsmorton Court church wedding. The timings are a guide only and can be adjusted according to the wedding couples unique requirements. This example includes the terrace which is optional for church weddings.

STAGE 1 - Bride Preparation (10.30 AM–1.00 PM)
Birtsmorton Court offer The Garden House, a large and comfortable property for the bride and her party to get ready in. Rather than incur the cost of a wedding car and arrive at your wedding somewhat creased, why not use the Garden House which is a stones throw from either the church or Great Hall.
Up to 10 of your wedding party can get ready in the Garden House whilst your Hair and Makeup professionals prepare you for your grand entrance. The Garden House has one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in which to get changed, a fully functioning kitchen and a comfortable living room with TV. (This facility is available on an hourly basis).

STAGE 2 - The Service (1.00 PM–2.15 PM)
Guests will park their cars adjacent to the church and enter via the church gate. The Service will then take place, lasting typically 1 hour 15 minutes. After the service, confetti can be thrown and photographs can be taken around the church entrance. It is a matter of walking a few yards to the entrance of the Court.

STAGE 3 - Reception Drinks (2.15 PM–3.45 PM)
Now you enter our exclusive venue! From the church gate guests will walk a short distance to the medieval Court entrance. As they enter the courtyard drinks and canapés will be served to your wedding party. Guests are then free to walk around the courtyard or move through the house and onto the wonderful terrace.
Here guests will marvel at the beauty and tranquility of this private home that looks over the moat and Westminster pool with fantastic views of the Malvern Hills. Guests are also free to roam around the gardens taking in the elegance of the White Garden, the sumptuous colours of the borders and view the house from a host of different angles.

STAGE 4 - Wedding Breakfast (3.45 PM-6.15 PM)
Your chosen wedding breakfast is served by an experienced and dedicated staff with full waiter service. The wedding breakfast is served in our beautiful 90 ft. marquee, attached to the side of the Garden Room. The marquee will seat up to 160 guests on round tables. For numbers above 160, the garden room can be used to seat an additional 140 guests creating a fantastic space for larger weddings.

STAGE 5 – Wedding Breakfast Ends – Party Begins (6.15PM–6.45PM)
As the evening progresses into the party stage, evening guests will arrive, the bar will open and dancing will begin in the Garden Room, which is separate from where the wedding breakfast is served. The duty manager will remove some of the marquee linings to reveal the Garden Room behind. The sliding glass doors will then be slid back to create a seamless space between the marquee and dancing areas. This also allows the day guests to stay all day in one area.

STAGE 6 - Evening Buffet is Served (9.00 PM–9.45 PM)
The evening buffet is served in a dedicated area next to the bar. We can offer a wide choice of evening catering to include Barbeques, Pig Roasts and Finger Buffets. These can be served simply with paper plates and napkins, or more formally with crockery, cutlery, linen and salads. The number of evening guests catered for is up to the discretion of the wedding couple.

STAGE 7 - Firework Display (10.30 PM–10.45 PM)
Firework packages work brilliantly at Birtsmorton Court. The DJ/Band will make the announcement on the PA system for guests to follow the oil burning lanterns back up to the front lawn overlooking the house. The house lights and garden lights are all switched on to illuminate the house. The fireworks are then set off overlooking the Westminster Pool where you can see spectacular reflections.
STAGE 8 - The End of the Day (11.30 PM–12.00 AM)
At 11.30pm the bar closes and guests exit the venue through the main entrance next to the bar. The wedding party can organize a small or large coach to take all guests back to their respective hotels, leaving their cars until 10.30am the following morning. If the Bridal Suite has been specified, the Bride and Groom will be escorted over to the Court by 11.45pm.
