Your romantic wedding day will be managed fully by our expert team. The example below depicts a typical wedding hosted at Birtsmorton Court. The timings are a guide only and can be adjusted according to the wedding couples unique requirements.
Our Weddings at Birtsmorton Church
STAGE 1 - Bridal Preparation
Birtsmorton Court offers The Garden House, a large and comfortable property for the bride and her party to get ready in. Rather than incur the cost of a wedding car and arrive at your wedding somewhat creased, why not use the Garden House which is a stones throw from either the church or one of our civil wedding locations.
Up to 10 of your wedding party can get ready in the Garden House whilst your Hair and Makeup professionals prepare you for your grand entrance. The Garden House has two bedrooms with two bathrooms in which to get changed, a fully functioning kitchen and a comfortable living room with TV.
STAGE 2 - The Ceremony
Guests will park their cars adjacent to the venue. The Service will then take place, (whether it’s a Civil or Church Wedding). Once you are married, confetti can be thrown and photographs taken.
STAGE 3 - Reception Drinks
We are fortunate to have two lovely locations for reception drinks therefore we recommend that wedding guests split their time equally in both locations. For the first 45 minutes drinks and canapes will be served to your guests on the terrace. In this unique location your guests will marvel at the beauty and tranquility of this private home overlooking the moat and Westminster pool with fantastic views of the Malvern Hills.
In the summer months, guests are then invited to continue their drinks and canapés in the White Garden, (see the virtual tour and photographs) and guests are welcome to explore the surrounding gardens, unspoilt for generations.
STAGE 4 - Wedding Breakfast
The wedding breakfast is served in our beautiful 90 ft. marquee, attached to the side of the Garden Room. The marquee will seat up to 160 guests on round tables. For numbers above 160, the garden room can be used to seat an additional 130 guests creating a fantastic space for larger weddings.
At Birtsmorton Court we are proud of our association with Dine With Style (DWS), an award winning caterer from Bath who offer many value added benefits that one would expect of one of the UK’s finest caterers.
STAGE 5 – Evening Entertainment
As the evening progresses into the party stage, extra guests may arrive and dancing can begin in the Garden Room, this area is separated from the seated Wedding Breakfast Marquee linings will be removed to reveal a dedicated dancing area which includes wall lined star cloths and a 16ft. by 20ft. dancefloor.
The Garden Room is surrounded by private gardens featuring a dedicated entrance, full catering facilities and a large purpose-built parking area. This makes for a highly adaptable space that can host any type of wedding party.
Outside is an extensive garden with two lawns, open to your wedding party for the duration of the day. The area is sensitively lit and offers elegant garden chairs and tables (weather permitting) for guests to enjoy the tranquil outside space.
STAGE 6 - Evening Meal
The evening buffet is served in a area next to the bar. We can offer a wide choice of evening catering to include Barbeques, Pig Roasts Finger Buffets and Cheese Board. The number of evening guests catered for is up to the discretion of the wedding couple.
STAGE 7 - Firework Display
Firework packages work brilliantly at Birtsmorton Court. Your guests will follow the oil burning lanterns to the top lawn overlooking the house. The Court and garden lights are switched on to illuminate this area. The fireworks are then set off overlooking the Moat where you can see spectacular reflections.

The Marquee A 20ft x 90ft stone patio adjoins the Garden Room, providing the perfect space for a large marquee to be erected alongside the Garden Room. The marquee offers a blank canvas for the discerning wedding or corporate client. |
