Spring & Easter weddings
During the Spring months the weather tends to be quite variable, and at Birtsmorton Court we pride ourselves on covering all bases for weddings held at this time of year. Our management team will carefully assess the weather using three online weather forecast sites, and prepare all relevant outdoor spaces appropriately.
For cold and wet days, a blazing log fire in the Great Hall welcomes and warms guests throughout Reception Drinks. The exposed beams and comfortable furnishings of this grand room create a light, yet cosy environment.
For intermediate days, where there is light rain or showers, a series of awnings are erected in the courtyard, terrace and top lawn to enable guests to gain temporary shelter whilst still enjoying the beauty of the outside spaces.
For sunny spring days, the gardens are starting to come to life with wisteria in the White Garden and many other rare and beautiful plants slowly flowering with the warmer weather, and this is when our Gardens can be enjoyed to the full.
